Swedish Relaxation Massage
Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.
Head, Hands, and Feet
This is a treatment that applies special and detailed focus on the head, hands, and feet only. (back and legs not included). The hands, feet, face, and head contain various reflexology points that correspond to the rest of the body. That's why even this type of massage can leave you feeling refreshed. This is also a wonderful addition to any of my other services if you want a little added attention to those areas.
My Stretch-Me-Out session is intended to release tension in tight muscles and increase range of motion in stiff joints. This session not only lengthens short muscles, but will assist you in becoming more aware of areas of concern. You will quickly notice the difference in your quality of movement after just a few stretches. Improving the quality of your movement can help to improve the quality of your life, especially for those who've had long-term range of motion issues. Athletes who add focus into improving their range of motion also tend to notice some improvement in their athletic abilities. Releasing muscle tension assists in preventing injuries caused by sports, accidents, and day to day activities. This can make a great addition to any of my other offered services as well.
